I had an excellent stay at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Hee Sung provided outstanding customer care and offered a complimentary upgrade as part of my Titanium Elite status, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to every interaction. The view over the marina is beautiful, making the atmosphere relaxing and unique. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I'm actually pretty happy with this place - they moved the room I checked into in the app because i noticed it didn't have a balcony, and the room i got was perfect. Good sized room for the price and nice bathrooms, although bot huge. Large balcony. Kind of a weird hotel design - to get to my room you had to go out and back in hotel on the second floor, which requires a lot of key card use. But the seaside access is unmatched, and the beachside restaurant in the hitel is delicious if slightly expensive. Great sunset view from the bar. The loss of star is the parking - valt only, 52 a night. There is a ton of parking lot space, yet they charge an obscene price and valet only. The Hilton Garden across the street charges 32 a night and does self parking. You can park a block away for free (when ch is what i did 2 of 3 nights, the third night I was recovering from marathon). It reels of extortion...fix that (self park for 32 a night like across the street) and this place is 5 stars.

We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend. It is a quiet, cozy, boutique hotel overlooking the marina and Mothers beach. It is centrally located and just a short walk down Washington Street to Venice Beach. From there you can walk the beach boardwalk all the way to Santa Monica beach/pier. The restaurant offers a nice relaxing patio overlooking the beach and the food was excellent. Our large room (458) had no balcony but an abundance of windows with amazing views. There is a small gym and the pool and jacuzzi tub seemed adequate, however it was a bit cold and we didn’t use those amenities. The hotel was well maintained. The staff were amazing from top to bottom. Christina at the front desk was welcoming. We received several text messages throughout our stay asking if there’s anything that we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I do recommend this property. I would definitely stay here again. Give it a try!

We recently stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey with a group of 50 ice hockey fans, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would come back in a heartbeat! Why we loved it: Top-Tier Service: The breakfast every morning was delicious, and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive, even with a group as large as ours. The Best Barkeeper: A huge shoutout to the bartender who went above and beyond! He even stayed open late just for us to make sure we were well taken care of. Don't worry—we made sure his tip jar was very well fed! Clean & Comfortable: The rooms were spotless and provided the perfect retreat after a long day of hockey and sightseeing. Great for Sports Fans: For those of us who couldn't get enough sports, the TVs on-site were perfect for catching the latest games. Location & Logistics: Getting around was a breeze. We used Uber and Waymo (which was an awesome experience! ) to get everywhere. Most major spots are relatively easy to reach from this location. Bottom line: If you are traveling with a large group or just looking for a clean, friendly place with a great vibe, this is it. Thanks for the hospitality!

First time to this hotel, would definitely recommend! Location is convenient to LAX & an easy walk to Venice canals, restaurants & coffee places. Our king room was clean & spacious, felt like it had been recently refreshed / renovated. Heating/Aircon unit was a bit noisy but otherwise a very restful space. We had a parking lot view. Next time I'd pay extra for a better view. Thanks for the lovely stay!

I spent a week here and it was fabulous from the beginning to the end. It’s recently redone and kept extremely clean and fresh. It was close to everywhere I needed to be, and having the bike rental right there at the front door was incredible – – I rented for an hour or two every morning and it was exhilarating. I loved the bar and restaurant which was really a fun place to hang out as well as having a huge varied menu. I met many locals who knew the restaurant was great because they also eat here (You’ve got the Hilton benefits, but this is not a Hilton restaurant) I will stay here anytime I come to Los Angeles!

I’m an LA local, so there’s usually no need for me to stay at a hotel—but Jamaica Bay Inn is an exception. My husband and I love staying here to enjoy kayaking, the nearby Cheesecake Factory, and a kid-friendly beach park where our two little ones can run around and have fun. The hotel staff are all friendly and very professional. Hee Sung, the hotel manager, always makes sure we’re well taken care of. Hands down, this is the best hotel in LA. You can’t beat the location—right in front of the beach—and the restaurant offers a great variety of food. So far, everything we’ve tried has been very tasty. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary in LA and we stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn. We stayed at the hotel from October 15th-19th, 2025. From our first encounter with the gentleman that checked us in that afternoon. (I did not get his name) until our time of departure, we truly enjoyed our stay. Check in was informative and easy, the rooms were very clean, the hotel is in a great location to get a Lyft, Uber, or Waymo to local attractions. The on-site restaurant had a good variety, great chefs, and the executive brunch was awesome. We did however encounter a broken coffee pot in our room and I called the front desk, at first I was told that I couldn't be assisted, however, I received a knock at the door within 10 minutes with two cups of coffee. Throughout our stay Christina & Nikki (front desk clerks) were very helpful with directions and recommendations. They even let me store some items there after checkout, due to a late flight. Was the price a little higher than most? Absolutely, but in my travels I see you get what you pay for? And they delivered. Once I scrape my pennies together, I will definitely be back one day. I hope the staff is acknowledged or rewarded in some way. P.S. I was not paid for this. I just try to share really good news.
